. Our company works closely with an international network of partners. I also co-founded the AEC Hackathon (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) organization, a non-profit, volunteer-organized network focused on promoting startups and innovation in construction at Hackathons. The AEC Hackathon team has helped organized 40 hackathons in 30 cities in 10 countries since 2013. I am also the recipient of a 2019 US Forest Service Innovation Grant supporting the Mass Timber Summit and Hackathon and global mass timber design competitions. I am a frequent speaker at international construction innovation events and am eager to help build mass timber cities on the U.S. West Coast together with a global and local network of partners. Will Novy-Hildesley, Executive Director of #forestproud + the North American Forest Partnership Will Novy-Hildesley has extensive experience with the forest sector, developing new initiatives, and leading multi-stakeholder brand initiatives that bridge for-profit/non-profit, and government. Since 2000, he served as Founder and CEO of Quicksilver Foundry, a strategic planning and branding firm whose recent clients include the Department of Defense, Intel, Deloitte/Monitor, The Unitarian Church, Social Venture Partners, Easter Seals, The Society of American Foresters, Vistage and Surfline.com. Prior to that, he worked at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the World Wildlife Fund. He has a Master’s of Science in Tropical Coastal Zone Management from Newcastle University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Durham University.
